Visitors, individuals or small groups, are welcome to visit the farm and learn about alpacas and their fiber. Please call to make an appointment.

After the alpacas are fed, they might follow you down the driveway! That's not an alpaca, but Katherine the llama, on the left.

Llamas, in the same camelid family, are much larger than alpacas and can be used as pack animals. Alpacas are valued for their fleece or as pets. 

Welcome, Creme Brulee

BMCA Jenna's new cria, Creme Brulee, made her first visit off the farm to meet the students in the Unitarian Universalist's religious exploration class. She had her picture taken with all the boys and girls. They learned about alpacas and fiber and then had a chance to felt soap and make a ball for their pets to play with.

Other BMCA alpacas made visits to three branches of the Latah County Library District for the children's summer programs and downtown Troy for the pre-schoolers.
